PI Salil Vadhan, PI Kobbi Nissim, and Senior Researcher Marco Gaboardi Presented at the Third Biennial Secure and Trustworthy CyberSpace Principal Investigators' Meeting (SaTC PI Meeting '17)

On January 9-11, PI Salil Vadhan, PI Kobbi Nissim, and Senior Researcher Marco Gaboardi Presented at the Third Biennial Secure and Trustworthy CyberSpace Principal Investigators' Meeting (SaTC PI Meeting '17) in Arlington Virginia. 

The NSF SaTC PI Meeting is a biennial forum of the SaTC research community where leading experts from academia, industry, and Federal agencies come together to discuss game changing challenges resulting from the global adoption of cyberspace by:

  • Reviewing new developments in SaTC fundamental ideas and concepts that minimize the misuses of cybersecurity
  • Discussing ways to bolster education and training in cybersercurity
  • Identifying new, emerging applications
  • Transitioning promising research into practice

This year's meeting focused particularly on "cybersecurity and infrastructure: how SaTC research can help move the nation to a position where cybersecurity is a strength of its interdependent infrastructures rather than a weakness, while maintaining both privacy and accountability for all."

PI Vadhan delivered a presentation on Privacy Tools for Sharing Research Data.

PI Nissim and Senior Researcher Gaboardi delivered a presentation on Computing over Distributed Sensitive Data.
