Privacy Tools PIs Gary King and Salil Vadhan and Senior Researcher Cynthia Dwork are cited in [Barrons](https://www.barrons.com/articles/facebook-opens-up-its-data-1523983591) and [Phys](https://phys.org/news/2018-07-social-science-massive-trove-facebook.html) in relation to King's organization [Social Science One](https://socialscience.one/data-security-privacy), which will lead the effort to identify data inside Facebook, prepare that data for researchers, and fund numerous scholars to analyze it. Social Science One will use differential privacy to share data with researchers while preserving user privacy.
