# Call for Speakers at CDAC/FCSM Workshop on New Advances in Disclosure Limitation - Abstract Submission Deadline of 08/04/17 July 27, 2017 - [ Blog ](/news-categories/blog) Washington, DC – September 27th, 2017 CDAC/FCSM Workshop on New Advances in Disclosure Limitation Bureau of Labor Statistics Conference Center Call for Abstracts for a Session Presentation Abstract Submission Deadline: August 4, 2017 **Disclosure Limitation is at a crossroads!** With the ready availability of commercial data and new advances in computer science, many techniques that traditionally protected the confidentiality of record-level data are being called into question. **Come share your experience!** What disclosure limitation problems are your organization facing? How are you working to close the gap between science and practice? Where do current techniques fall short? Which problems are real, and which are media creations? Submit an abstract for a session presentation to the Workshop on Disclosure Limitation sponsored by the Confidentiality and Data Access Committee (CDAC, a sub-committee of the Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology).
