"Technology Science" Launches!

In collaboration between IQSS, the Data Privacy Lab, and the Ford Foundation, Technology Science announced its inaugural launch on Tuesday August 11. The launch includes 5 papers, which are garnering thousands of views each day. Technology Science is an open access, peer reviewed, online publication focusing on rapid reporting and discussion of issues involving technology-society relations and clashes. It offers a forum for original material describing benefits of technology, material assessing adverse consequences of technology, and material documenting technology-society clashes or addressing solutions. The editor-in-chief is Privacy Tools project co-PI Latanya Sweeney, and the advisory and editorial boards include a number of current and former project members, including Sean Hooley, Gary King, Merce Crosas, David Abrams, Raquel Hill, and Murat Kantarcioglu.
