Summer research opportunities for undergraduates (Application deadline: Feb 28, 2014)

The Privacy Tools for Sharing Research Data project is pleased to announce summer research opportunities for undergraduates with interests related to computer science and scientific computing. Students will work with faculty in highly interdisciplinary groups on projects that contribute to the security and privacy of data.

The Privacy Tools for Sharing Research Data project is a broad, multidisciplinary effort to help enable the collection, analysis and sharing of personal data for research in social science and other fields, while providing privacy for individual subjects. We are actively looking for students in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, and Quantitative Social Science to work on projects that can include theoretical, programming, and/or empirical work, as well as potential interactions with law, policy, and social science.
